This 3 session workshop will guide you through the essentials needed to start hooking like a pro. Students will work on a 10" x 10" piece.
12:30om - 3:30pm Wednesdays
Session 1: October 23rd - The basic tools, materials and technique will be covered. Students will design and colour plan and begin to hook.
Session 2: October 30th - Review & Troubleshooting. Social hooking.
Session 3: November 13th - Students will learn basic finishing.
Class Fee: $90Kit Fee: $35 (includes foundation cloth and wool strips for hooking - does not include hook & hoop)
Studio hoops and hooks can be used during the sessions and will be available for purchase if the student desires.
This class takes place in Dawn's home studio. There are cats on the premises.
Introduction to Traditional Rug Hooking
Heartfelt requires a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit in order to register for a class.
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit. If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start date the deposit is forfeited. If a student does not show up to the class, the deposit is forfeited.
The instructors at Heartfelt set their own minimum number of students. If the minimum is not met, Heartfelt reserves the right to cancel the class up to 24 hours in advance of the start date. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Some classes require kit fees which are paid in cash directly to the instructor unless otherwise specified.
